As an actor, Anna’s background is in classical theatre, having trained at Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, MA. While favorite credits include Viola in Twelfth Night and Nick Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Anna also acts in contemporary theatre and on screen — most notably in the series Dead-Enders, for which their work has been recognized by the Los Angeles Film Awards and London Web Fest Awards. Anna is the Director of Company Development at Company of Fools and a Creative Associate at Eastline Theatre.

As a singer and musician, Anna performs, coaches, arranges, and composes. They are proficient in violin, guitar, piano, ukulele, and drums. Most recently, they recorded original music for the stage play Tam Lin and the interactive audio drama The Diamond Peak Studio Sessions.

Anna’s writing — short fiction, poetry, and essays — has appeared in Calyx, Carve Magazine, The Festival Review, the Santa Fe Writers Project Quarterly, Perennial Press, Passengers Journal, Olney Magazine, Intima, and Academic Emergency Medicine, among others. Their short story “The Problem with Unemployment Offices” was shortlisted for the Uncharted Magazine Short Story Award.

Anna holds a B.A. in Anthropology and Theatre Arts from Brown University, and an M.D. from the Icahn School of Medicine. They are currently a resident physician of Emergency Medicine, and received the Judith and Nathan Kase Humanities in Medicine Prize for their involvement in the arts alongside their medical career. Anna is proudly non-binary and mixed-race Korean-American.
